Trouble Shooting Guide

This is a trouble shooting guide to help out employees diagnose any problems that may arise from time to time. These problems may be for the air compressor or the blast pot. There will be a seperate section for vehicles.

A loss of pressure from your blast hose could be a number of issues.

  • Compressor shutdown
  • Check your pinch hose has not been damaged. It could have a pin size hole that will cause the hose to lose pressure.
  • Check the pressure valve inside the air compressor has not been activated

More then likely this has been caused by the pinch hose being worn down to a point that it actually has not pierced a hole through the hose but worn through just enough that it can’t quite seal closed properly. Switch out with a spare pinch hose if possible before looking any further.
